Today we lost our 30 year old Quarter Horse mare. We have been preparing for her death for a while, but we were all stunned by this. She was our best horse and we all grew up on her. It's rough.

A few days ago I found out that my best friend from middle school had committed suicide. She was so amazing and had been through so much, including the suicide of her own mother a year ago, who blamed it on her. I can't believe she's gone..
